Bitbox is a one-way web application to transfer and collect medical imaging data from external and independent sites into a unique network. With Bitbox we want to support data sharing and facilitate multi-centers collaborations. The application is very easy to use, you just need Internet connection and to register within the system, then you are ready to go! With Bitbox you can transfer any type of data, including DICOM and non-DICOM imaging files. The first version of the application (https://www.bitbox-imaging.com/) has been created for internal use at the Centre of Neuroimaging Science, King’s College London. However, the system is flexible and easy to configure and can be customized for any particular research purpose. Bitbox can be installed either as an on-premises solution, using in-house IT infrastructures, or as a cloud-based solution. This work was supported by NIHR Maudsley BRC and Wellcome Trust Digital Award (215747/Z/19/Z).
